Definition of Terms

blasphematory (or blaspheme)

- verb. to speak impiously or irreverently of (God or sacred things) on any religion.
- to speak evil of; slander; abuse.

dafamatory

- adjective. containing defamation; injurious to reputation; slanderous or libelous
- harmful and often untrue; tending to discredit or malign

derogatory

- Disparaging; belittling: a derogatory comment.

statutory (or statute)

- noun. an enactment made by a legislature and expressed in a formal document.
- the document in which such an enactment is expressed.
- an instrument annexed or subsidiary to an international agreement, as a treaty.
- a permanent rule established by an organization, corporation, etc., to govern its internal affairs.

xenophobe
xen·o·phobe [zen-uh-fohb, zee-nuh-]
- noun. A person unduly fearful or contemptuous of that which is foreign, especially of strangers or foreign people.
- a person who fears or hates foreigners, strange customs, etc.
